Video: How Chocolate is Made From Cacao

Chocolate comes from the pods of cacao trees in the rainforest understory. First, the hard pod is cut open. The seeds inside are covered by wet pulp. The seeds are then left to dry. The dried seeds are ground into small pieces or shaved into a fine powder. Now you know: Chocolate is grown on trees!
